The cream of the crop. The top of the top! Especially in Alaska. Skiing out of a helicopter is almost as exciting as riding in it…or climbing out of it while ‘nosed in’ to the mountain face.
This is one time in life where you often ski ‘untouched powder.’ You know, the powder that people dream of and act like they actually ski?! Granted, no promises, wind is real. But there is good chance! And even if the snow isn’t perfect, riding in a helicopter is always exciting.
These trips will be booked through Black Ops Valdez with me as your guide. They do book out very long in advance, so if you want to get on the books, let’s start the process now!

Aimed at backcountry skiers who know how to ride powder and can handle medium steep terrain. Not for the faint hearted. Avalanche equipment, including air bags, is a must. Skins not needed. Rentals available.
