Marcus Baker, Alaska
Marcus Baker, Alaska
Embark on an epic climb up Alaska's Marcus Baker, the tallest peak in the Chugach Mountains at 13,176 feet. A truly remote mountain that sees zero ascents per year on average. Also very attainable major peak in Alaska, given good weather and a fly-in glacier landing approach. One might even say ‘easy’ in relation to other major mountains.
Great to combine this peak with a 3-5 day mountaineering course. We can also combine Marcus Baker and Mt Goode and try for 2 summit with one plane/heli glacier landing!
